Damgo is a textile studio in the Philippines that specialises in the design and development of heirloom quality handwoven textiles for fashion & interiors. Their mission is to encourage the creation and use of innovative and ethically made Philippine textiles and products. They are committed to contributing to a flourishing and sustainable local textile industry. They do this by exploring the creation of contemporary woven textile designs with circularity in mind by only using discarded or waste materials as well as eco-friendly natural fibres to create their textiles. They explore new approaches to traditional weaving together with local independent makers and are currently collaborating with a rural community of handloom weavers from Argao, Cebu to bring their handwoven textiles to life. They offer services such as the design and production of original handwoven textiles. Damgo supports brands in creating luxurious and unique woven textiles with a positive impact on people and the planet in mind.
